For the Chicago song: "The Terry Kath Experience" is in my queue of music biopics to recommend. It was made by his daughter.

RIck Beato has a video about Stairway to Heaven you've GOT to watch!

Oh, wow, thanks for telling me about the Terry Kath Experience, found it on amazon prime and look forward to watching it.

I've watched some of Rick Beato's stuff and will look up that Zep video.

Thanks for those recs!

Hey, E.Z.: how'd you like to do a guest post on my channel about this movie? I'll do one on yours, I was thinking the movie about Lowell George and Little Feat.

Yes, I'd like that. The Lowell George movie looks interesting. I started watching the Terry Kath doc and already have an opening angle for a post. Let me know timeframe that would work for you.

Excellent! I think the "every Friday" schedule is unsustainable, and I already broke it with "Hired Gun." Can you have it by Friday 7/28? I can do the Little Feat one by then, too, so we could have reciprocal guest posts!

Sounds good. I can do it by then. Not sure how the swap works, but I'm sure it must be straightforward since most things seem to be on here. Are you OK with embedded video or would you prefer text only? I don't want to assume. Btw, you can email me directly at ezprine@proton.me.

email coming. The name will be neither my pen name NOR my real name! Virgil Hilts is the Steve McQueen character in "The Great Escape" (I think).

Awesome songs, dudes!

These blokes actually sound like they got somethin' between their ears. Kinda rare for rock n rollers. Most think in keys and tones, not whole sentences, so they don't say em so often.

What kind a mixed drinks these fuckers like? That's what I wanna know.

Yeah, there are so many songs in the vault, hard to choose.

Lots of research now on musician's brains and how they think more holistically, like a lot of artists, so you're right that they may not reach for words to express themselves. It's like actors who are amazing with a script and lost without.

Not sure what kind of mixed drinks. Fuzzy navels?
